Wendy- Coon Hound for adoption
Email info@bigheartsbigdogs.com if you are interested in adopting Wendy. Donations to our rescue can also be made at http://www.bigheartbigdogs.com
Wendy is a 1.5 year old 60 lb spayed Coon Hound. She is micro-chipped & up to date on her vaccines. Wendy is house-trained & crate-trained...although she'd prefer her human's bed to being in a crate. Wendy is still in the chewing stage so a good strong Kong is perfect for her. She is strong and tends to pull when on leash. She loves attention and to give kisses. Wendy would do best with a very active human or if not so active, then another dog for play would be best. She is good with all size dogs, cats & kids. Given her size, though, a medium to large size dog is the best playmate as she can be clumsy from time to time. True to her breed, her nose is in over drive and it is amazing to watch her parade around smelling the air trying to figure out what scents are floating in the air. Wendy is also a talker and a good eater. She can be possessive but not aggressive of her food if she feels another dog might take her dinner...so it's best to feed her separately.
